A narrow ridge of Hakatai Shale capped by an outlier of Tapeats Sandstone internal to the Cremation Graben (A); the Tapeats Sandstone contains fragments of Shinomo Sandstone (B), indicating that the present-day nearby cliffs of Shinomo once stood at the edge of a wave-lashed sea cliff during the Cambrian marine transgression, dumping the occasional rockfall onto the sandy beaches along its base.
